Dr. Sejal Shah knew she wanted to be a dentist when she saw how dentistry and orthodontics transformed her and her sisters’ lives. It gave her the confidence that she has today. She proceeded to attend the University of Florida where she received her dual bachelor’s degree in English and Biology. Upon completing college, she moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, which she graduated from in 2022. Her time spent there opened her eyes to the ever-shifting world of dentistry and how to be a more forward-thinking clinician. She spent time organizing meditations with her colleagues because she knows that patients have pre-existing fears before stepping into the dental chair and she wants to be ready for that. Her goal as your dentist is to create a calm and nurturing environment where communication and honesty will allow for the best outcome.
She is a member of Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
When she’s not spending time inside and outside of Renken Dentistry honing her skills and continuing her dental education, she is exploring Austin. Dr. Sejal loves to conquer the best hikes, live music shows, and museums. She can’t wait to take care of you!
